***Social Media / Marketing Manager***

(1) Part-Time Social Media & Marketing Manager
Location: Remote (with consistent availability)
Hours: 6-10 hours per week

Fresh Pickins Farm is seeking a creative, self-motivated individual to manage our social media platforms, newsletters, and marketing content. If you’re passionate about storytelling, have an eye for design, and love connecting with audiences through high-quality content, we’d love to hear from you!

Responsibilities

  • Help develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy.

  • Manage Instagram, Meta Business, and Google Business accounts.

  • Schedule posts, stories, and reels using Later and other tools.

  • Create engaging newsletters and promotional content through Omnisend.

  • Design graphics and visuals using Canva and other tools.

  • Capture, edit, and optimize high-quality photo and video content.

  • Leverage analytics and performance reports to refine strategies and share insights with the Fresh Pickins creative team.

  • Collaborate in weekly team meetings to brainstorm and align on creative goals.

Qualifications

  • Experience in social media management and marketing.

  • Familiar with tools like Canva, Later, Omnisend, and social media platforms.

  • Graphic design and video editing skills.

  • Ability to create visually appealing, on-brand content.

  • Knowledge of social media analytics and reporting.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

  • Must have access to devices capable of producing high-quality photo and video content.

Here are the on farm positions for the 2025 season:

Open Positions:

  • (2) Full-Time Farmers (June–October)

    • Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 8 AM–5 PM

  • (1) Full-Time Farmer / Farmers Market Representative (May–October)

    • Schedule:

      • Tuesday and Fridays on the farm (June–October): 8 AM–5 PM

      • Saturdays at Brunswick Farmers Market (May thru October): 8 AM–2 PM

      • Sundays at Scarborough Farmers Market (June): 8 AM–2 PM

  • (1) Part-Time Farmer / Farmstand Representative (June–November)

    • Schedule:

      • Monday on the farm: 8 AM–5 PM (June thru October)

      • Friday, Saturdays and Sundays at Cape Elizabeth Farm Stand: 12PM–6PM (May through October)

A Few Important Details:

  • Applicants must have reliable transportation to and from the farm in Cape Elizabeth, Maine.

  • On-farm housing is not available.
