A zinc-based lip balm for sun, wind, and cold exposure. Made with 25% non-nano zinc oxide, organic oils, and Maine beeswax, it creates a protective layer on the lips to help guard against sun and harsh conditions.

This is built for time outside. Cold air, salt water, high sun, long days on the move. It goes on thick, stays in place, and holds up when lighter balms wear off. Use it before heading out and reapply as needed throughout the day.

The scent comes from frankincense and rosemary. Clean and subtle, noticeable when you apply it, then it settles in.

For those who live on the water

Epic is the best I've found for wind and sun protection. I spend 3-4 days a week on the water year round and most of the rest of my days working on our landscaping. (I'm retired). Virginia summers are hot and sunny and Virginia winters are windy. Regular spf waxy lip balms don't work for that type of exposure. After realizing they weren't working and seemed to be drying my lips and needed constant reapplication I started to look for alternatives. My eureka moment was when I thought back to my days at the east side pool in Des Moines and the white nosed life guards. That sent me looking for a lip balm with zinc oxide. After testing one tube I realized this was the answer. It protects against sun but more importantly the wind. I'm am prone to cold sores from the elements and this balm prevents them. If you are someone who spends their life outside this is a must.

Smells delicious, easy to apply, and works like a charm! So many sun protection products feel greasy and slick on your skin, and this balm absorbs into your skin like butter and doesn’t clog your pores. I've experimented with many face stick sunscreens... This is the best, hands down! It is extremely effective and it lasts for a long time when you are out in the elements. Can't beat the $10 price tag either.

Overall a super great product, it provides quality waterproof sun protection that's mineral based without nasty chemicals. I really love the pocket mini stick, that's the big seller for me. This stuff lives in my board shorts pocket when I go surf so I can reapply without getting out of the ocean. Hits the spot so I can keep catching waves without getting crispy.
